About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Revenue and Customer Operations Officer position will play a crucial role in helping solarZero achieve their goal of scaling 10x to 100,000 customers across NZ.
This is a broad and significant role on the executive team with around 90 indirect reports.
This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth and playing an essential role in leading and delivering the multichannel strategy, developing new segments beyond the core residential offer (i.e. schools, commercial, new build etc), growing the lifetime value of services they offer to customers as they further embrace smart home technology.
Pivotal to success will be the ability to scale whilst delivering a world class customer experience from the first engagement and sale, through to installation and during the 20-year customer journey.
Due to the breadth of operational activities, you’ll need to be comfortable leading sales and customer facing teams and technical / engineering teams, setting clear targets, and driving performance.
About You
This role requires an experienced leader who will lead a high performance and customer centric culture. You'll have strategic agility and leverage your past experience to drive our people to deliver for our partners and customers. We're looking for someone with the following background:
- Has been a member of a senior leadership team (preferably executive team).
- An exceptional people leader with experience leading large cross functional teams and a track record of building a high-performance culture and environment.
- A track record in a business that has scaled revenue and operations
- A revenue focused leader with multichannel direct sales experience
- Ideally Energy or Technology industry experience but we are open to considering other high growth complex businesses who operate across the Business-to-consumer and Business-to-business sectors.
- Highly numerical and understands data, and able to make the complex simple
- A customer and employee centric executive who is obsessed with delivering exceptional experiences for these stakeholders.
This role requires a strong connector and relationship builder. Someone who can work well cross-functionally and with multichannel reseller partner organisations, bringing strong commercial acumen.
