ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for supporting Distributel’s SMB Sales Team, overseeing the administration and operational activities for sales functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

With the help of the Director of Sales, establishes sales compensation program rules, policies and procedures.

Lead forecast calls and deal reviews, including large deal governance and non-standard implementations.

Develop standards for sales excellence including key scorecards, agreed to guiding metrics, operational design, and process.
-
Responsible for directing the planning, staffing, budgeting and expense prioritization.
-
Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within Distributel.
-
Work cross functional to remove any operation/organizational barriers.
-
Establish clear deal structure and compliance guidelines and measure sales adherence to defined processes.
-
Partner with senior management to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Working closely with Senior Management, Product Management, Sales Leadership and Finance, you’ll build annual operating plans & budgets.

Lead the annual sales quota, compensation, and sales organizational planning process.
-
Provide weekly perspective on state of the business and provide recommendations on how to maximize sales revenue.

Manage and update the sales process, forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, reports, and dashboards in CRM.

Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes.

Providing models and organizing statistical studies for the Sales Department.

Lead a team of direct and indirect reports, including, but not restricted to, Account Relations Managers, Pricing Specialists, CRM Administrator, Process Improvement Manager and Technical Project Manager.

- Hours of work: Usual business hours with the occasional need to address time-sensitive issues outside of business hours.

CREDENTIALS:
Successful candidate must have:

5+ years of Sales Operations Management experience.

Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and similar experience.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communications skills in English.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
