Sales Operations Lead - Remote, United States
Summary
Thunder's Sales team is booming - and we're looking for our first Sales Operations Lead! As Sales Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our sales team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our sales operations processes, data analysis, and sales forecasting.
Working closely with the sales team, marketing team, and senior leadership, you'll have a direct impact on our explosive growth across our varying Salesforce Practices.
A Typical Day in Your World:
Wake up every day, fully invested in ensuring we are driving the right activity, balance and focused attention. You'll run reports and maintain full visibility into the practice bookings, pipeline, competition, deals, win rate, activity and programs. Partner with practice leads and sales leadership to address "hot spots" or further "lean in" on successes.
Role + Responsibilities
- Manage the overall Sales Operations execution, including territory management, long term sales data tracking, and ensuring our sales processes are efficient, effective, and scalable
- Hold weekly meetings to present and review Sales Ops data
- Analyze client base for propensity data, working with leadership to develop sales strategies, action plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth based on said data
- Analyze large Sales data sets and derive conclusions based on that data
- Drive accountability across the key practices by working with practice leads and sales leadership with a focus on retention/repeat business
- Develop needed processes where there may be gaps, including implementing new technologies as needed
- Monitor and assist with customer retention, account management, and marketing outreach methods
- Run daily Salesforce reports to maintain full visibility into each practice's activity, bookings, pipeline, current market, deals, win rate, and programs
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of overall experience
- 3+ years in a Lead Sales Operations position within the Salesforce Partner consulting ecosystem
- High level of proficiency with Salesforce reporting capabilities, with a deep comfort in creating Sales Operations reports and dashboards
- Strong understanding of sales processes, data analysis, and forecasting (specifically around Sales, Service, Communities, Marketing, Field Service, and Revenue Cloud consulting sales processes)
- Highly analytical and makes data-driven conclusions
- Successful track record serving as a liaison between teams (specifically Sales, Operations, and Marketing) and upper management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Tech Stack: Tableau (preferred)
