The Sales Operations Analyst will perform and support a range of Sales and Marketing analytics, including pricing, promotions, performance reporting, and market/business intelligence. Another large portion of the responsibilities will be to process and align customer pricing contracts with the outlined strategies with the Sales Operations Manager and Special Markets management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical reporting to business stakeholders and leaders, to prioritize, execute, analyze, and optimize performance.
- Weekly & monthly, analyzes/reviews DSO Special Pricing Agreements (SPA) to secure approval with Executive Sponsors and then provides results to Special Market Sales Manager
- Create, modify, and assemble business reporting to satisfy evolving data requirements, with a focus on measuring initiatives.
- Monitor and interpret business performance, understanding drivers and trends in aggregate as well as individual deals in the US and Canadian markets
- Monthly New Product Quartile Ranking/Reporting by Sales Associate for the US/Canadian Sales Teams
- Monthly OTD Growth Reporting by Sales Associates for the US/Canadian Sales Teams
- Provide monthly Reporting by Dealer, Region, and Product by Sales Associates to Sales Leadership
- Produce deeper level analysis of the forecasting process involving the re-alignment of Sales and Marketing activities to support inventory needs (representative of cross-functional forecasting).
- Provides Annual Retail/Wholesale Price List for internal stakeholders
- Analyzes profitability of all Promotions to secure approval with Executive Sponsors in advance of execution
- Responds to Marketing and Sales requests for data/reports as needed
- Supports the Annual Sales and New Product Budget process
- Prepare annual pricing analysis utilizing market and economic data for Wholesale, Canadian Wholesale, Institutions, and Schools.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Experience and/or Training
- 2 years of experience in market research/analysis
- Strong Analytical skills with the ability to produce meaningful reports for marketing and sales teams, and leadership (including mastery of Microsoft Excel)
- Strong communications skills: excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills as well as presentation skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Flexible/Adaptable: Have a strong sense of self and can relate well to others; learns quickly and can adapt to changes in timeframes, people, and situations with ease. The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proven track record of successful interaction including planning skills with Sales and Marketing Management that tightens and improves the outcomes/accountabilities of campaigns executed between sales and marketing
- Results Oriented: A track record of consistently delivering excellent results, even in the face of changing environment. Regarded as a strong performer, with strong attention to detail and solid leadership skills
- Demonstrates excellent project management, relationship building, and customer influencing skills
- Critical thinker who will challenge that we are doing things right and making appropriate trade-offs based on data and information available
Technology/Equipment
- Strong MS Office Suite skills, Video conferencing, CRM systems (Salesforce), SAP, Expense Management Systems, Web-based sales platforms
- Advanced technical report writing and analytical skills
Travel
· Unrestrictive Domestic and Foreign travel up to 10% (not inclusive of travel to our Headquarters office in Alsip, Illinois.)
