We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Sales Officer to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. This is a remote position based in Texas, where you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our company's objectives. As a Chief Sales Officer, you will be a key member of our executive team, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our company's objectives and drives revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in target industries
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet or exceed their targets
- Develop and implement effective sales processes and procedures that streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop pricing strategies and ensure alignment between sales and revenue goals
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and generating new business opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Chief Sales Officer or similar role, preferably in the technology industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Experience developing and implementing effective sales processes and procedures
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
