We are looking for a Revenue Accounting Operations Manager to join our Revenue Accounting organization based out of our Santa Clara office. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Operations, IT, Corporate Development and FP&A to ensure accurate and complete accounting for multiple element arrangements, software, SaaS, e-commerce and other revenue streams. As a Revenue Accounting Operations Manager, you will build scalable processes for new revenue streams, ensure accuracy and efficiency in the close process and be responsible for providing relevant financial information that is both insightful and actionable and enables NVIDIA’s senior leaders to make effective business decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
Foster strong partnerships with various business teams including IT, FP&A and Sales and Operations to assess and launch new product offerings.
Oversee maintenance of the multiple element accounting system including leading IT projects for system implementations and enhancements.
Improve the productivity of the Revenue Accounting team by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools to help the team achieve operational efficiency.
Assist with integration of acquired entities into the order-to-cash process.
Provide revenue recognition guidance to business partners within the organization.
Delegate and oversee work performed by individuals in the Revenue Accounting team and in our shared resource center.
Perform and review periodic analysis of stand-alone selling prices for existing and new products.
Responsible for timely execution of month-end and quarter-end activities including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and applicable disclosure schedules and related reports.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
CPA or equivalent qualification.
7+ years of public accounting and/or related industry revenue accounting experience
Previous leadership experience in Revenue Accounting or related field
Detailed accounting knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers including hardware, software, multiple element arrangements and SaaS
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in financial analysis and/or business modeling as well as building scalable revenue processes for new product offerings.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Experience with SAP (SD, FI and RAR modules), Zuora and other multiple element accounting systems is a plus.
Strong financial and revenue accounting knowledge, attention to detail and a high sense of accountability.
Experience with cloud service provider marketplaces is a plus.

The base salary range is $112,000 - $224,250. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
