Floorworld is an Australian flooring company offering a wide range of domestic and commercial flooring options sourced from the best brand names in the industry. With a network of 45 locally owned and operated stores across Australia, we’ve been serving Australian customers for over 30 years.
We’re a small team doing big things and recognise that to deliver the next phase of our growth plan - and do what we do even better, we need a National Sales & Operations Manager to join our team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, operational efficiencies, and compliance across the store network. Measures of success include increased revenue to budget, preferred supplier sales growth, cost management to budget, member satisfaction, and consistency in the execution of the Floorworld Blueprint across the store base.
§ A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
§ Minimum 5 years in a comparable role in a similar-sized business. Experience in a franchising or membership-based organisation working with SME’s an advantage
§ Deep analytical capability and ability to think strategically, with a willingness to switch to hands-on as required to solve problems and get things done.
§ P&L management experience with strong commercial acumen.
§ Leadership experience with developed interpersonal management skills.
§ High-level negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to provide advice at all levels of the organisation.
§ Verbal and written proficiency in the English language with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences.
§ Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
§ The availability to travel domestically with overnight stays is a regular requirement.
