This role is a member of the Global Sales Team within the Sales Operations & Development Division-
The Manager Sales Operations will be a driving force in American’s transition to focus our sales programs on driving incremental value for our customers

They will do this by developing centralized insights from AA B2B performance and delivering those key metrics and drivers to our front-line sales team and Leadership

This team member will create and maintain reporting to track performance at a Global Sales level, measuring metrics and goals for our leadership and providing insights to shape the Department’s overall strategy
Lead, mentor and support a team seven analysts in Sales Operations-
Monitors Sales performance as analyzed by Revenue Analysis and uses that data to guide and educate our Sales organization on successful execution of the commercial strategies

Identifies areas of opportunity across various metrics including route, channel, and customer behaviors

Based on findings, develops suggests actions to improve performance and share those with the Sales Effectiveness and Sales Automation teams to identify tools/training required

Develop productivity and effectiveness reporting and KPIs for our Retailer Support team

Centralized budget and business planning for the Sales Organization

Represents Global Sales across the Commercial Organization
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
-
3 years successful sales and analytical experience
-
Advanced customer focus and customer service skills
-
Exceptional training and coaching skills to motivate employees
-
Great verbal and written communication skills
-
Modern retailing (NDC) knowledge (both current and future)

Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

Experience in supporting B2B sales teams in a variety of capacities

Proven background in working across teams and department to deliver results

Effective communicator, facilitator, and collaborator

Strong project management skills and ability to be proactive and meet deadlines

Former experience as a B2B sales professional

Knowledge of Retailing Support tools and Strategy

MBA or Advanced degree in Analytics preferred
