Responsibilities:
1. Quota-crushing leadership: Lead by example and carry your own sales quota (inside sales) while managing and motivating a team of sales professionals. Embrace the thrill of exceeding targets and inspire your team to do the same.
2. Strategic planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic sales plans, set ambitious targets, and create effective strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals. Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
3. Performance management: Implement performance metrics, track individual and team performance against quotas, and provide regular reports to management. Identify areas of improvement, coach team members, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and productivity.
4. Sales process optimization: Analyze and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and shorten sales cycles. Identify bottlenecks, eliminate roadblocks, and implement technology solutions to enhance the sales workflow.
5. CRM administration: Serve as the CRM expert, managing the CRM system, optimizing workflows, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting. Provide training to the sales team on CRM usage and best practices.
6. Sales analytics: Develop and maintain sales analytics dashboards and reports to provide insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive sales strategies.
7. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to align strategies, streamline processes, and ensure seamless coordination between departments. Foster a culture of collaboration and information sharing.
8. Continuous improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales operations. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and the adoption of new tools and systems.
Requirements:
1. Proven sales operations experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the roofing or construction industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
2. Leadership prowess: A natural leader with experience managing and developing a high-performing sales team. Ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team members to achieve exceptional results.
