Title: Sales Operations Specialist
Overview:
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, and be able to multi-task while working in a fast pace environment. The Sales Operations Specialist must be a team player, professional, proficient in MS Office, have a sense of urgency, and have good communication skills. Great medical device entry role for those with a clinical background looking to break into the medical device industry.
Candidate will ideally hone their spine knowledge and sales skills to grow within the company.
Job Duties:
- Assist with pricing contracts and addendums for reps and Distributor Principles (DP’s).
- Assist with DP contracts.
- Assist with reps and DP’s for sales materials and demos.
- Act as liaison with distributors on misc. requests: sales reports, etc.
- Assist with meetings.
- Assist in PO collection with sales managers and DP’s.
- Research and track leads.
- Scheduling of flights and hotels for surgeons and labs.
- Assist with hospital approval paperwork and MedApprove and GreenLight tasks.
- Conduct sales lead tracking and follow up.
- Assist with vendor registration requirements.
- Provide VAC support for distributors and sales team. Present our products to hospital staff and hospital administrators to gain hospital approval.
- Coordinate lab logistics, including procurement of cadaver specimens and laboratory equipment.
- Assist in cadaver labs.
- Study and train on the Biedermann Motech family of spine products.
- Attend trade shows and demo meetings to promote the brand and demonstrate the product.
- Cover surgical cases when needed
Job Requirements:
- Must be willing to comply with vendor credentialing protocols including providing proof of vaccines and training proficiency.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Travel required 15-25%.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years relevant work experience. Experience within the medical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is highly desirable. Scrub Tech., Surgical Technologists, X-Ray Techs, or other allied health professionals are highly encouraged to apply.
- Be able to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately, orally and in writing.
- Have strong project coordination and project executive skills.
- Multitasks prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work closely with the sales team and sales manager to manage and continually develop sales cycle process.
- High attention to detail and quality documentation skills.
- Efficient typing speed and clear written communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability in uncovering challenges and delivering a well-considered solution.
- Skilled in working effectively with cross-functional teams.
