We are currently seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and aggressive VP of Sales with a desire to lead our sales strategy. This position will be a remote position located anywhere in the United States or Canada. The VP of Sales will be responsible for the following job responsibilities listed below. Overall, an IT Sales VP plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the organization's sales strategies align with market demands and business objectives.Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Planning: The VP develops and implements the overall sales strategy, including setting sales targets, defining market segments, identifying potential clients, and determining pricing and positioning strategies.
- Team Management: They lead and manage the IT sales team, including account executives. This involves setting performance goals, providing coaching, and training, and evaluating individual and team performance.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: The VP analyzes market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to forecast future sales and revenue. They provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding sales performance, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Sales Process Improvement: They continuously evaluate and improve the sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes implementing CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other technologies to streamline sales operations.
- Industry Knowledge and Market Analysis: They stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. This includes monitoring competitors, attending industry conferences, and conducting market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the IT manage services, digital transformation services, or technology industry
- 10+ years of experience in a direct sales role, with no less than 5 years of experience working in a leadership role.
- Exceptional sales performance history (quota achievement, forecasting, etc.) that can be confirmed through documentation and references who will validate record of success and level of contribution.
- Ability to maintain strong internal and external networks; leveraging relationships to prospect and close new business Highly competitive and self-motivated with the ability to deliver results quickly.
- Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in small and large group settings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and executive presence skills.
- Team player
Work Setup- Fully Remote
For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000.
The commission is 10% uncapped above quota for an OTE of $200,000 to $240,000
