TaxConnex is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Analyst to join their Sales Consultant team. This role will lead the following activities: developing & reporting metrics, managing forecasts, improving processes, updating documentation, maintaining salesforce, and providing meaningful analysis of leads and opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Operations Analyst will be a crucial part of the sales department, assisting to drive revenue through improved visibility and efficiencies.
Key functions include:
Sales & Pipeline Business Reporting and Analytics
- Enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPI)– understand trends and build action plans to solve business problems
- Conduct Win/Loss analysis for deals to improve close rates
- Conduct quality reviews on lead and opportunity records
- Partner with marketing to ensure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Support leadership meetings with necessary summary sales and pipeline reporting
Sales Recruiting and Training
- Assist with sales recruiting efforts
- Maintain and improve sales onboarding training
- Create new sales training content including process, CRM/other tools and TaxConnex services
- Coordinate training schedules & monitor outcomes
- Deliver training
Assist Sales with Partner Development and Management
- Develop and manage partner activity and KPI reports for direct sales team (sales consultants)
- Coordinate sales consultants’ participation and, on occasion, attend sales/marketing events (tradeshow, partner events, lunch and learns)
- Partner with marketing to provide feedback on overall experience and success of partner campaigns
Sales Operations Process Support
- Maintain process documentation
- Monitor and improve sales processes and ensure consistency across sales consultants and among fields/data and help reduce duplication of data
- Assist with proposal and engagement letter reviews and seek ways to improve
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations, teams to ensure seamless handoffs and integrations across processes/organizations
- Assist the Activation team to continually improve sales to Activation hand off processes and update sales processes as needed
Sales System Support
- Drive automation and standardization in the sales process through consistent utilization of sales tools (CRM, proposals, engagement letters, etc)
- Coordinate and manage requirements for sales automation system and productivity tools
- Test CRM changes made by Salesforce administrator
- Configure Salesforce for individuals and teams to leverage views, dashboards, reports, and other user configurable settings
- Manage organizational “roll-out” plans for new system features and tools (communication, training, process documentation, user guides, etc)
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of sales operations or program management experience is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, or similar field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Salesforce admin and support role is required
- Understanding of Salesforce
- Leadership skills and the ability to work as a team
- Attention to detail with keen eye and desire to create, document and maintain processes and programs
- Solid teamwork skills further supported by a professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to TaxConnex on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. The schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. TaxConnex reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
