Samba TV is a leading provider of Smart TV data and analytics, delivering insights to advertisers, content providers, and platform operators. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Revenue Operations to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software as a service (SaaS), data as a service (DaaS), programmatic media, and measurement revenue models. A strong grasp of the media landscape and various transaction models is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and executive leadership to define and implement GTM strategies, plans, and targets specifically tailored to Samba TV's offerings
- Develop and implement GTM processes, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness for Samba TV's product suite, including programmatic advertising, cross-screen measurement, and data-driven TV solutions
- In conjunction with Sales own the forecasting process
- Manage and maintain CRM tools, systems, and processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts related to Samba TV products
- Maintain scalability, drive automation, and ensure accuracy of various operational processes. Examples include territory assignments, pipeline management, identification of high value accounts, tool management, data enrichment, optimization of a high-throughput deal desk, contract management, comp design & commissions, and accelerating demand gen funnel in conjunction with marketing operations
- Lead a team of analysts and Salesforce administrators, providing guidance, support, and performance management
- Analyze sales data and generate insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement specific to Samba TV's market and clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and customer success to align sales strategies and drive growth for Samba TV
- Continuously monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed to achieve success with Samba TV's products
- Implement, monitor, and optimize sales tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and productivity for Samba TV's sales team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role, preferably in programmatic advertising, cross-screen measurement, or data-driven TV solutions
- Proven experience managing and leading teams of analysts and Salesforce administrators
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement technologies
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Samba TV or a similar company in the programmatic advertising, cross-screen measurement, or data-driven TV solutions space
- Familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management techniques specific to the industry
- Proven success in managing and coaching high-performing teams focused on innovative technology products
