Position Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist works closely with Sales and Marketing Leadership to support the entire Sales Team through managing and maintaining key metrics, developing innovative tools, and reporting solutions. A dynamic individual who has a passion for data, creating and implementing new tools – with the goal of optimizing processes and streamlining efficiencies within the Sales Team – would thrive in this role.
Sales Operations is NOT a sales role. Sales experience is not necessary or relevant.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to continually design and enhance the CRM (Sugar CRM), intranet (Microsoft Sharepoint), and reporting (Microsoft Excel and Power BI).
- Support both the Device and Diagnostic Sales Teams by providing tools, data, and solutions that focus on increasing revenue in Domestic and International Markets
- Collaborate with the Accounting and Customer Support teams to corroborate best practices across platforms, data, and processes
- Architect and implement custom reports through CRM, Power BI and Microsoft Excel to meet the needs of Sales and Marketing Leadership
- Assist in onboarding new CRM users and departments
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of key data across our ERP and CRM platforms
- Work extensively within both the ERP, CRM, and reporting platforms to perform multiple daily, weekly and monthly functions
- Develop and implement critical reports necessary to maximize efficiencies
- Administer national and regional contracts under the direction of Sales Leadership
- Continuously educate the Sales Team remotely and in person on enhancements, best practices, process improvements, new analytical tools developed by Sales Operations
- Serve as first point of contact for the Sales Team for any troubleshooting within the CRM, ERP and/or reporting
- Attend district and national meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required – (GPA 3.0 or above)
- 1-2 years of Sales Operations, Data & Reporting experience or equivalent
- Highly detail-oriented
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Previous CRM admin experience
- Knowledge in Power BI (preferred, but not required)
- Enthusiasm for data and learning new software
- Strong ability to problem solve and learn/develop new processes
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Occasional domestic travel
