JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales Operations will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales processes and driving revenue growth. This position will be responsible for overseeing sales operations activities, implementing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve sales performance and enhance overall customer satisfaction. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field; MBA preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

8+ years of proven experience in sales operations, sales analytics, or a similar role

In-depth understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex sales data and generate actionable insights

Proficiency in Salesforce and sales analytics tools (ZoomInfo, Zymewire, MediaFly i360, etc)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders

Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and implement process improvements

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets

Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
1. Sales Process Optimization:

Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales processes to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and revenue generation

Identify areas of improvement in the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and streamline operations

Analyze sales data, metrics, and trends to identify bottlenecks, opportunities, and best practices, providing actionable insights to sales leadership
2. Sales Analytics and Reporting:

Establish and maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor individual and team performance, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to sales leadership

Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue growth

Generate accurate sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and revenue projections to support sales planning and strategy development
3. Sales Tools and Technology:

Evaluate, implement, and administer sales tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness

Provide training, guidance, and support to the sales team on the effective use of sales tools and systems

Stay up-to-date with emerging sales technologies and trends, making recommendations for adoption based on business needs and ROI
4. Sales Enablement and Training:

Collaborate with sales enablement team to develop and deliver training programs, tools, and resources to enhance sales team capabilities and performance

Identify skill gaps and development needs within the sales team and work with sales leadership to address them effectively

Ensure sales processes, policies, and guidelines are documented and communicated effectively to the sales team
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective coordination of sales-related activities

Partner with finance to develop sales compensation plans, incentives, and targets that motivate the sales team and drive desired outcomes

Support the implementation of pricing strategies, promotions, and sales campaigns in collaboration with marketing
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility of management including direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of the assigned team and staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Expected annual base salary range: $113,000 to $150,000
