Job Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst is a professional who enhances the sales processes for Mayfly Outdoors. They will evaluate, organize data, and provide support to the accounting, marketing, and sales departments. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales and Marketing teams of a company. The duties will range from providing guidance about market trends, to developing resources and tracking long-term sales data for individual stores, as well as the entire domestic chain of stores.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Performing sales data analysis and reviewing metrics
- Interpreting and presenting data results
- Advance report creation and presenting utilizing NetSuite and Excel
- Leadership in the annual revenue forecasting process. Developing detailed sales forecasting
- Demand forecasting at the SKU level to drive production and develop product flow
- Managing product and sales database
- Manage and suggest sales opportunities based on recent trends
- Analyzing and reporting on customer performance and customer experience
- Analyze and communicate monthly sales progress against major KPIs
- Analyze existing processes, recommend improvements, and implement innovations
- Analyze sales data to identify actionable insights for the growth team
- Assess and design efficient internal processes that will help our teams scale
- Assess and reconcile sales data systems to ensure ongoing data accuracy
- Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data to track plan performance and metrics
- Providing support to sales and marketing department
- Lead shipping team and manage shipments to customers and Mayfly locations
- Monthly forecasting of shipping goals based on relevant data
- Manage and suggest sales opportunities based on recent trends
- Rep Reporting to be distributed on a monthly basis to keep outsides reps informed and aware of MTD, YTD and Goal data
- Reporting to cross functional teams on shipments, forecasts, and trends
- Influence production schedules and timelines for all brands
- NetSuite and excel reporting
- Input into Cash flow and financial models
- Coordinate shipments from CA to ship sales orders in CO
- Supervise reallocation of product for all Abel, Ross, and Airflo brands
- Coordinate multiple shipment combination with the shipping department
- Analyze incoming Abel reels from CA and prepare paperwork for assembly and shipment
- Coordinate with production manager to set assembly prioritization for Ross product when required
- Coordinate with Abel assembly team to set build prioritization on a daily basis
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Advance NetSuite and Excel experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advance in building and maintaining accurate data spreadsheets
- Build process documentation across all Sales team workflows.
- Build & run Quarterly Business Reviews, as well as conduct periodic cost-of-sale analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 4+ years relevant business experience, preferably in outdoor industry sales
- 4+ years’ experience working within an ERP software system such as NetSuite
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics a PLUS
- Advance experience with sales strategy execution, data analysis, and sales analytics; KPI’s reporting and operations management.
- Passion for fly fishing and outdoor industry experience is required
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication and organization
- Demand forecasting experience required
- Attention to detail is imperative for success in this position
- Balance multiple tasks while managing time efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
