A financially driven, self-motivated sales professional with a strong FinTech background, startup experience, and a deep understanding of AI and complex technology in general. Ideally coming out of the M&A, investment banking, venture capital, strategic advisory sectors, the successful candidate must be inherently high-velocity, high-performance, self-directed, optimistic, assertive, competitive, uncompromising, politically skilled, detailed, disciplined, highly technical, well networked, capable of confidently engaging at the CXO-level, ready to lead-from-the-front, selling direct, as well as building the channel, simultaneously recruiting, and managing a global team.
Main responsibilities:
- Initially, establish and activate the channel, winning joint pilots that are successfully developed into showcases.
- Engage direct customers, cross-organizationally, top-down at the board and CXO-level, bottoms-up at the business and technology decision-maker level, strategically at the corpdev or M&A level, identifying, engaging, and winning over the key:
--> Business decision-makers, CXO-level sponsors capable of signing the deal.
--> Technical decision-makers, CTO / equivalent, capable of validating the AI.
--> Corpdev / M&A segment specialists essential to a successful deal.
- Lead/drive the sales process once the customer is engaged, winning over stakeholders, navigating the politics, managing internal technical, financial and analyst resources, and the client executives to win the deal.
- Structure and lead negotiation, producing a definitive agreement.
- Ensure smooth management of the due-diligence process.
- Recruit and lead a world class sales team in the US, Europe, and Asia.
- Function as a spokesperson, conference presenter, networker, lobbyist, helping to establish ALPHA10X’s brand as iconic in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Preferably computer / data science undergrad, plus MBA.
- Min. 10 years sales / BD, team management.
