About the role
Reporting directly into the National Sales Director this role has 3 direct reports and is responsible for sales planning, processes, and logistics.
Provide detailed sales planning, forecasting & performance reporting
Agree with manufacturing the production volumes based on planning insights
Apply vehicle mix, target market and option uptake planning
Sales planning and tracking responsibilities for new product introduction and current stock
Provide to all sales channels the order management process and supporting information
Overall responsibility for the release and shipment of vehicles within the UK and international markets
Ensuring commercial payment terms are achieved by dealer partners
Undertake market research and performance analysis to support vehicle model mix, country volumes and option sales planning
Experience to succeed
Strong background in planning/forecasting sales and operations
Detailed understanding of differing sales channels, including direct sales and dealer wholesale channels
Experience line managing a team is essential for this role
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence at a high level
Have a track record of delivering results in a Sales Operations Management role
Experienced supporting a sizeable, fast-moving business
Experience with automotive manufacturing or EVs is a bonus
