Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Operations leader to join our organization. As the Sales Operations Senior Associate, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing best practices across our Corporate Development team. You will collaborate with the core elements of Corporate Development/Inside Sales, to drive operational excellence, optimize funnel development processes, and support achieving our targets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Corporate Development and/or Sales Operations, and a passion for driving efficiency and effectiveness across Corporate Development/Inside Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning:
· Develop and implement the sales operations strategy working closely with senior leadership and in alignment with overall portfolio objectives.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to define targets, quotas, and territories, ensuring they are aligned with portfolio goals.
· Conduct regular analysis of corporate development performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
2. Process Optimization:
· Streamline and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Identify and implement tools, technologies, and automation solutions to support sales teams in achieving their targets.
· Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess corporate development performance and identify areas for improvement.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
· Establish and maintain corporate development analytics and reporting processes to provide accurate and actionable insights to senior leadership.
· Analyze data and trends to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas of concern.
· Develop forecasting models and provide accurate corporate development forecasts to support business planning and resource allocation.
4. Sales Enablement and Training:
· Collaborate with the Marketing, Corporate Development & HR teams to develop and deliver training programs to enhance effectiveness.
· Ensure Corporate Development teams have the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively execute their roles.
· Drive the adoption and utilization of process enablement technologies to enhance sales productivity.
· Work closely with Team leaders to support the recruitment and subsequent onboarding of Corporate Development roles
· Collaborate with the marketing, corporate development, and leadership teams to develop training programs to enhance effectiveness and onboarding.
5. Corporate Development Compensation and Incentives:
· Partner with Senior Leadership, Finance and HR to design and administer corporate development compensation plans and incentive programs.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate development compensation plans to ensure alignment with capital deployment goals and overall company objectives.
· Provide guidance and support to the leadership team in setting realistic and motivating sales targets.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to drive alignment and achieve portfolio objectives.
· Foster strong relationships and open communication channels with key stakeholders to understand their needs and address operational challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
· Proven experience in a senior corporate development or sales operations role, preferably within a high-growth organization.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
· Deep understanding of corporate development or sales processes, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and sales enablement technologies (preferably Salesloft)
· Strong project management abilities with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
· Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
