Role and Responsibilities POSITION & REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Sales Training Professional to build a World Class competency-based sales training program, driving growth by delivering introductory and advanced skills sales training, synergizing product knowledge, sales operations, and sales processes. This servant leader must be an adult education and sales process subject matter expert with experience developing and executing customized sales training programs aligned to specific business objectives, integrating product knowledge and sales operations processes. This individual possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high energy, demonstrated creativity, and is committed to internal stakeholder development. Prior capital medical equipment sales process knowledge and exposure, or equivalent longer sales cycle experience, is required. The Sales Training Manager reports directly to the VP of Global Sales as a member of the Leadership Team, partnering with Sales Managers, CAE Training and Education leaders, Marketing, Product Managers, and the Executive Team. Responsibilities: You will develop a competency-based sales training program grounded in both foundational and contemporary adult learning modalities, as well as results-driven sales performance models. The CAE Sales Training Program initiatives will align with business objectives to elevate the clinical, technical and product effectiveness of the sales team, incorporating both in-person and digital solutions. You will create soft skills development opportunities for the field-based teams that improve their impact and effectiveness as professionals. You will assess, measure and track competency mastery of all new hire training, advanced corporate training, and continuous education learning events, designed to reduce time to sales and product competencies. You will build and manage relationships with the Sales Leadership, Commercial Excellence, CAE Education, Marketing and Customer Experience teams and associates, as well as manage cross-functional relationships with other internal departments, with focus on improving sales representation throughout the company as new processes and systems are researched and implemented. You will create annual strategies around foundational and advanced field representative training, monitor performance and demonstrate improved ROI for attendees who participate. You will participate in key marketing activities through partnership with the Sales Leadership and Marketing teams. You will partner with the CAE Education team to develop the training strategy for implementing new technologies and products added to the CAE Ecosystem portfolio. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Minimum 4 years of relevant Sales Training experience in the Healthcare industry. Certified Training Professional Sales Process Training Certification Demonstrated competency model development and execution experience Demonstrated ability to define, develop and implement sales training programs Demonstrated consultative sales and negotiations experience, with a proven track record of success. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; exceptional presentation skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite. Resourceful, enthusiastic, energetic, and driven. Ability to work well in a diverse and global environment. Up to 30% travel required, including international Preferences: Clinical and/or simulation equipment experience Insight Selling and Account Based Marketing trained Commercial Value Proposition education and training experience Certifications and/or Licensure: EMT-P, RN, MSN, CRNA, or equivalent. Experience with competitive products within the simulation industry Experience utilizing a formal Learning Management System (LMS) Marketing experience GENERAL: Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures at CAE Healthcare.
