Our client, a global consumer products leader is seeking a VP of Sales to join their team. This person will report directly to the President and oversee all consumer product omnichannel sales activity.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth via a customer-centric, omnichannel strategy
- Deliver excellence while meeting and/or exceeding established goals
- Oversee all sales operations, budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performance sales team
- Negotiate annual business plans and contracts with key customers
- Work collaboratively with all internal departments and external partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven sales management experience working with CONSUMER PRODUCTS (ie; Housewares, Appliances, Toys, Juvenile Products, Furnishings, CPG, etc.....)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
- Successful track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales and profitability goals
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and business acumen
- Understanding of key customers including AMAZON, WALMART, and TARGET
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring sales teams
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
