Overview:
The sales operations manager is a high visibility roles that has a pivotal part to play in the day to day commercial operations processes and business cycle and sales support for the UK sales business.
A key link with our x-functional teams in category, marketing, supply chain, shopper, RGM and sales/ eCom, this is a wide-ranging role making sure our sales team have the tools and support they need to deliver their jobs brilliantly, leading the agenda for in – store sales execution and support and delivery of key projects through our ongoing change agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management and development of 3 x sales operations administrators & 1 x sales operations exec

Ensuring delivery of all sales support requirements across the sales team including but not limited to:

Internal inputs into our sales planning system of all commercial terms & activity

External inputs into retailer systems for all commercial terms and activity

Sales Weekly EPOS reporting delivery

Sales Weekly Call sheet delivery

Ensuring that our SOX processes are robust, regularly reviewed and delivered with excellence

Ensuring consistency in process and approach across our sales teams through our business cycle, embedding ways of working and sharing best practise.
- Responsible for delivery of training to support process improvements and new projects
- Actively lead the in store activation agenda, driving engagement internally and through the line activation of our brand plans in to stores
- Lead the retail execution agenda through the creation and delivery of field sales strategy and key interface and management day to day with our field sales partners Flare

Supporting the Head of sales operations with business reporting requirements on a weekly and monthly basis

Leadership & management of the 3 sales operations administrators & 1 x exec, supporting PDP’s and CDP’s

Leadership and management of our field sales contract and all associated costs c £1m

Delivering best in class Sales admin support internally & externally

Ensuring support for delivery of SOX process through the sales/Finance teams

Delivery of business cycle meeting & reporting requirements

Graduate calibre

3+ years’ experience of account management or project management experience in a FMCG or similar business / industry

Communication – Is influential and builds effective cross functional links both internally and externally

Organisational & Time management – key to the role of supporting and delivering for sales support

People / Teamwork – Can coach a team and develop individuals. Understands how to ‘build’ a team

Good level of Excel / Powerpoint skills
