Due to recent acquisitions, the business continues to grow and now we are seeking to add a senior sales leader to our already high achieving team. Based from our Dallas office, the selected candidate will join us as Vice President of Sales Operations.
The VP Sales Operations will build, evangelize, and deliver a world-class sales operations function to support global sales channels and further accelerate sales growth. They will also be a critical link between business strategy and execution of sales force productivity and will be accountable and responsible for essential functions including sales planning, reporting, territory analysis, sales policy governance and compliance.
Candidate will have a sales / business development / finance / operations leadership background and experience in areas such as Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Technology or Financial Technology (Fintech) either hardware or software or both, Retail POS Technology, Retail Store Systems, Retail Cash/Treasury Management, Consumer Payment Systems or Store Transformation or similar; and a career background in Strategic Consulting or Strategic Sales. You will be an expert in the Retail or a closely aligned industry, spending the majority of time working directly with customers and partners leading transformational conversations; as well looking at innovative ways to bring our solutions to the market quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of sales operations including designing, tracking, and communicating key sales performance metrics
Responsible for our CRM technology and supporting tools and applications
Develop and implement sales operations strategies to increase efficiency and drive sales growth
Create and manage sales processes, systems, and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the sales organization
Collaborate with the business leadership and sales leadership to performance measurements aligned with the organization's financial obligations and strategic plan
Assures reporting, learning and incentives are aligned to meet these objectives
Analyze sales data to identify trends, make recommendations, and implement action plans to address areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, marketing and customer service, to align sales and overall business goals
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction
Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and tools to ensure they remain effective and efficient
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
At least 5 years experience in sales operations, with a proven track record of success
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, partners, and sales teams
Experience with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce and Xactly
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
