CoStar are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our London based Finance team to support the sales operations requirements of the growing Europe sales team. The key purpose of the role is to provide insightful reporting and analysis to provide sales intelligence for business growth as well as managing other sales related operational activities such as pricing approval and contract renewals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver accurate standardised weekly and monthly reporting on business activities e.g., pipelines, cancellation analysis etc using SQL queries.

Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that reporting meets ongoing business requirements and to determine and implement enhancements as needed.

Develop and maintain pricing tools within Europe.

Perform sales exception pricing approvals outside of the US operating hours.

Provide regular and ad hoc analytics to support the wider FP&A function in monthly reporting, budgeting and multiyear model development.

Provide analytical support to the commercial and senior leadership team as needed.

Handle day-to-day inquiries from the commercial team, providing prompt and efficient resolutions.

Maintaining up to date Books of Businesses for our UK Sales teams (CoStar and LoopNet) in our in-house CRM system – Web Enterprise.

Creating and reporting on Sales Campaigns within our CRM system, using the data in our CRM system to generate sales opportunity lists for sales reps i.e., Prospecting Lists.

Manage the renewal pricing process to ensure safe delivery.

To become the key resource on all aspects of sales metrics and operations

Develop and manage European commission plans for sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-
Experience in an analytical/quantitative role such as sales operations, revenue operations, data analytics or business analytics

Strong SQL experience, querying tables, experience using functions such as 'Joins' and 'Aggregates’.

Advanced Excel skills (macros not required)

Experience developing data visualisations (e.g., dashboards/ reports) and PowerPoint presentations.

Understanding of operational sales metrics and KPIs

To be able to understand and leverage systems for the extraction and manipulation of data.

To deliver data driven, insightful reporting and analysis to support decision making within the European Sales function.

To present and articulate information to as well as manage expectations of senior stakeholders.

To prioritise and manage time in a fast-paced environment in order to deliver accurate and timely deliverables.

To have a ‘can do’ attitude with problem-solving abilities, judgement and attention to detail.

To be proactive to drive continuous improvement within the space.

To be a self-starter who can use initiative to move work forwards.
