In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with key account managers, brand management, and the demand planning team to propel our business forward.
As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing active and tool-based sales services to help us reach our goals and seize new opportunities. Your main focus will be on replenishing designated accounts using our standard tools, gathering data, and conducting analysis to enhance supply chain operations within the Fossil EMEA Distribution region. By accurately determining and planning current and future demand, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and optimizing efficiency. Through your efforts, we aim to minimize out-of-stock situations and reduce costs associated with ordering, transportation, and inventory management.
In This Position, You Will Have The Chance To
- Optimize sales results by providing dedicated business services that support the sales team of the Distributors Business
- Perform Collaborative Demand Planning (CDP) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services at the EMEA distribution level, ensuring seamless operations
- Create the framework for Customer Centric Vendor Replenishment (CCVRT) and onboard new customers, expanding our business reach
- Monitor sales and inventory levels, review sales forecasts, and provide replenishment and order proposals to selected key accounts, simplifying the management of smaller accounts for our Key Account Managers
- Collaborate with the respective Key Account Managers to establish and refine replenishment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Utilize advanced sales analytics tools to identify opportunities for driving efficiency and maximizing sales results
- Lead the Hard Order Program Process for EMEA distribution, streamlining operations and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Manage and enhance the collaboration platform (B2B) for the Distribution Department, promoting seamless communication and coordination
- Prepare sales tools such as "Selling Decks," order proposals, and other resources to support our sales team's success
- Lead and develop the Business Service Team, empowering team members to excel and grow in their roles
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following capabilities:
- Possess 3-5 years of analytical experience in inventory management, allowing you to effectively contribute to our operations
- Demonstrate experience in Collaborative Demand Planning (CDP), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), or similar replenishment models, such as ECR and Quick Response
- Excel in managing multiple stakeholders, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring effective collaboration
- Showcase empathy and cultural sensitivity when collaborating with customers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing our customer-centric approach
- Exhibit exceptional project management skills, allowing you to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Have excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a busy workload while meeting deadlines
- Possess the ability to understand and act on sales reports, using data-driven insights to drive decision-making
- Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and proficiency in database analysis, enabling you to leverage data effectively
- Possess experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP, streamlining operations and maximizing efficiency
- Showcase strong analytical skills, allowing you to uncover valuable insights and make informed decisions
- Have experience in leading and developing people, fostering a positive and growth-oriented team environment
- Communicate fluently in business English, ensuring effective communication across the team and with stakeholders
