Position Overview
The Pre-Sales and Sales Operations Manager is a critical role that focuses on optimizing the sales process, streamlining operations, and supporting the sales team to achieve their goals.
The Pre-Sales and Sales Operations Manager is responsible for guiding the sales process, understanding customer requirements, and aligning solutions that meet those needs. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales opportunities forward.
The Pre-Sales and Sales Operations Manager collaborates closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, legal and other cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
1/Sales Support:
- Work with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, sales presentations, and other materials to support the sales team in their interactions with prospects and clients.
- Assist the sales team in qualifying leads and identifying potential opportunities to maximize revenue generation.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities to showcase products and services to prospects and clients.
- Coordinate the commercial discussions to find the best model fitting with clients’ needs and constraints
- Coordinate with Reseller / Sales partners for sales material, demo setup, and training onboarding, timing of contract
- Coordinate stakeholders for the completion of the contracting stages after a client has been converted
2/Sales Process Optimization:
- Understand customer needs and pain points through active listening and effective questioning during the pre-sales process.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team (eg :lead generation tools)
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales pipeline and propose solutions to streamline the sales cycle.
- Monitor Sales pipeline, sales priority (sales strategy per country)
3/Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and drive business growth.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate potential leads.
4/Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with sales leadership to design and implement sales training programs to enhance the selling skills of the sales team.
- Ensure sales team adherence to company policies and procedures, including contract approval processes, pricing guidelines, and compliance requirements.
5/Performance Measurement:
- Gather and analyze sales data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to sales management.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales forecasts and set realistic sales targets based on historical data and market trends.
- Support sales leaders in creating sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets
- Create and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor sales team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a sales role and sales forecasting
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Power BI).
- Knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and address customer needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
