Deal Desk Manager - Remote, USA
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deal Desk Manager to join our dynamic team. The Deal Desk Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of our enterprise-level SaaS agreements. This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS pricing, finance principles, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to structure complex deals while ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of collaborating with Finance, Sales, and executive leadership to optimize deal structures and drive revenue growth.The Deal Desk Manager will report to the Vice President of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Structuring and Analysis:
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure alignment on deal structures, pricing, and terms.
- Create compelling enterprise-level SaaS agreements that address customer needs while maximizing profitability.
- Analyze and evaluate deal terms, pricing, and discount structures to ensure alignment with company pricing strategy and financial targets.
- Utilize data-driven insights to recommend optimal pricing options for various deal scenarios.
- Lead and manage the Deal Review Board, coordinating cross-functional meetings to review and assess large deals with executive leadership involvement.
Pricing Strategy Development
- Collaborate with Product and Finance leadership to develop and refine pricing strategies that reflect market dynamics, competitive positioning, and value proposition.
- Provide insights on pricing trends, competitor offerings, and market feedback to inform pricing strategy decisions.
Performance Tracking And Reporting
- Monitor the performance of executed deals against forecasted targets and evaluate the effectiveness of deal structures.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into deal metrics, revenue impact, and pricing trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in deal desk management, pricing strategy, or related roles within the enterprise SaaS industry.
- Proven experience in collaborating with Finance, Sales, and executive leadership to structure and close complex deals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using financial modeling tools, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a drive for achieving business objectives.
