About the Role (your why)
As Sales Operations Lead, you'll play a key part in providing exceptional internal support on the sales management process including handling responses to bids, tenders and proposals; and supporting the sales teams with presentations and client meetings.
Ideally this role is Sydney based, however our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!
What you'll do
At the moment, as Sales Operations Lead you will be focused on:
- Supporting the Bid Management Team with tender documents, including writing and editing proposal documents ensuring they are of a consistent high quality
- Supporting the creation, implementation and management of engaging sales decks, presentations, and other marketing materials to help relate our products and services to multiple stakeholders
- Tailoring and translating internal resource materials with ongoing communications to the sales team including supporting the development of value adds, points of differentiation for customer proposals for both contact centres and CX technology
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information for tender and proposal preparation including but not limited to sales, product, analytical support, data, legal, compliance, IT, and commercial/ pricing functions
- Leading the sales implementation processes - tracking opportunity prospecting through to closing sales opportunities in Salesforce, internal reporting packs, along with performance updates through to quarterly reviews.
What you'll bring
Required experience:
- You'll have spent time in roles in the bid, sales and/ or customer service environment
- You'll be well organised, able to analyse data and documentation, and will have exceptional writing skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Great to have:
- Experience in people management and leadership skills
- Strategic sales and marketing exposure/ expertise.
