About the role:
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting all stages of the sales cycle and reports to the Sales Operations Manager. This position will be essential to the sales team’s success and will focus on supporting team outbound volume, target account creation, data integrity and optimizing sales processes to maximize wins and assist with revenue generation. You are process-oriented and data-driven professional with good communication skills and a growth mindset. You enjoy and take pride in owning and improving your area of work.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact & support for 80% of the sales team’s requests through complete understanding of sales systems and operations
- Identify, recommend and simplify the sales team’s administration to increase productivity
- Support and recommend improvements of sales and operations strategy, understand priorities and execute operational plans
- Optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and best practice sharing
- Analyze internal data to define target account and customer profiles by product offering
- Support the process of key prospect and contact list building and additional methods for acquiring net new names to our database
- Assist with ongoing process improvement and the management of Salesforce CRM, Apollo, Gong, Chorus & Outreach (and other platforms). This includes enhanced workflow, reporting, data integrity and maintenance
- Participate in defining, documenting, and implementing sales processes
- Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for management teams
- Build ad-hoc custom reports and dashboards for sales meetings and forecasting
- Contribute to sales strategy definition and annual sales planning
- Provide daily support for the sales team as required
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Operations to support the sales team’s success and increase cross-functional alignment
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B related work experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM (functionality, data structure, reporting)
- Power user in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets) or other data analysis tool
- Experience with Salesforce administration & Outreach or Salesforce admin certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and identifying gaps through data analysis
- Proven experience in developing, building and delivering quantitative business metrics
- Experience operating, understanding and integrating multiple tech platforms for increased efficiency
