Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales Operations Specialist to join our Commercial Sales Team.
As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing critical support to the Commercial Sales Team, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our sales operations.
Your primary focus will be on data analysis, CRM management, and sales support to help drive sales effectiveness and contribute to the overall success of our Commercial Sales operation.🚀
What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales Operations Specialist at Decoded, you’re ultimately responsible for:
- Data Analysis - Analyze sales data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales trends to generate insightful reports and dashboards. Provide actionable recommendations to sales leaders and the management team to enhance sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Salesforce Management - Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Salesforce platform that the Commercial Sales Team utilize as their CRM of choice. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity while providing user support and training to the team
- Sales Support - Collaborate with the team to provide support in maintaining sales collateral, sales presentations, and proposals. Instil ‘best practices’ and processes to ensure the correct mechanisms/stakeholders are in place to efficiently update collateral when required.
- Sales Process Optimization - Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and workflows. Help streamline procedures and implement best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting - Assist in the sales forecasting process by collecting and analyzing data, evaluating pipeline health, and reporting on sales performance against targets.
- Sales Analytics - Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific sales-related questions and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Process Documentation - Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines related to sales operations to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with Client Director, finance, and product teams to facilitate seamless communication and alignment across different departments.
TEAM & REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role will report into a Commercial Managing Partner, based in the United States, while working closely with Regional Commercial and Client Service teams in London and Hong Kong, as well as the CEO.
WHO ARE YOU?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- You have proven experience (2+ years) in a sales, sales operations, sales support, or data analysis role, preferably within the industry.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools is required.
- You are familiar with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and have experience in managing CRM data and workflows.
- You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and Decoded stakeholders.
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- You are familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- You have knowledge of sales processes and methodologies.
- You are experienced with sales automation tools or sales enablement software
DAY TO DAY
We have an office based in London. Going into the office is optional unless a team working day or specific need to come in has been arranged. For example an Educator training day/team breakfast or workshop etc. Our aim is to create the ideal working pattern for our employees while taking into context the needs of certain teams to spend time together on an occasional basis. Our working hours are from 9am to 5pm however, you will be in control and responsible for your time. You plan your working day around the best outcomes for success, identifying and prioritising projects against business needs.
APART FROM THE ABOVE, WORKING AT DECODED MEANS YOU'LL GET:
- 33 days leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) and extra tenured holiday enabling team members to gain an additional day for every year you are with us (after the first 2 years) up to a maximum of 8. We also close the office for 2 full weeks at Christmas at Decoded's discretion which does not come out of your holiday allowance
