This is a remote position within Canada.
Thales is looking for an experience Sales Operations Specialist which is a highly visible and complex role as it supports the Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) sales organization and spans across all business units and organizations. This position will interface with all levels of management as the point of contact for Sales Operations as it relates to a broad range of sales related operational activities, including forecasting, customer contracts, commission plans, sales analytics and coordination with support functions for the purpose of execution on sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Data Analytics
Design, develop, and launch global BI tools for Sales, Marketing, and Finance
Monitor Salesforce/Finance data quality and run clean-up projects as necessary to ensure data integrity
Work closely with different parties for the preparation of dashboards and business analysis
Assist in building analytical models to generate business insights
Translate daily business observations by data analytical methods
Sales Operations
Support sales team in opportunity management, data hygiene, quoting, and commissions
Use of CRM in managing the sales cycle to facilitate the accuracy of Sales forecast
Work closely with Sales leaders in distributing commercial or partner leads in SFDC & drive for necessary actions
Produce regular Finance & sales pipelines report/ power point slide decks for AMER Quarterly Business Review Meeting
Ensure end to end request management for the Sales (open, follow-up, closure) including escalation to the key stakeholders (Legal, Finance, SBA, Pricing, etc.)
Identify and capitalize Best Practices within the sales tools to optimize the overall process
Identify skill up needs to be delivered through Sales Operations Knowledge base or dedicated trainings to the Sales / Partners
Identify key materials to support salesperson (Customer Reference, Industry materials)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Finance field of study; or another related field of study
3+ years experience in high tech, preferably cyber-security
Prior experience in regional sales analytics roles
Proficient with Salesforce, Oracle, and PowerBI
Ability to translate complex data into simple tools and visuals across multiple data platforms
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the company
Strong problem solving skills to help drive the effectiveness and efficiency of the global sales organization
Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven while being customer facing
Excellent organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of technology channels and go-to-market models
Strong accounting, math and analytical skills
Knowledge of how Account Executives are compensated and motivated.
Knowledge of sales cycles and commissions.
