Our esteemed client, a high-established, publicly traded engineering consultancy based on the East Coast, and are actively seeking a seasoned Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With an extensive background in power delivery and a proven track record in pioneering strategic revenue-generating initiatives, the chosen candidate will play an instrumental role. As our client is poised for further growth and expansion, the CRO will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team in strategic decision-making, aiming to significantly boost revenue and consolidate their position within the ever-evolving power engineering sector.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Revenue Planning: Formulate, execute, and manage the revenue-focused aspects of both annual and long-term strategic plans, aligning with the company's broader vision.
Operational Oversight: Direct and oversee the revenue-centric operations of the company while ensuring seamless coordination with other key divisions such as business development, operations, HR, and finance.
Performance Management: Ensure the organization is on track to achieve its revenue targets by optimizing effective revenue growth strategies and performance metrics.
Team Leadership: Champion and direct strategies for the expansion and proficiency of sales and business development teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
Revenue Strategy Formulation: Spearhead the ideation, communication, and deployment of innovative revenue-generating tactics and processes to stay ahead of industry shifts.
Achievement Tracking: Vigilantly monitor the company's progress towards customer acquisition and overarching revenue goals, intervening and recalibrating as necessary.
Compliance and Coordination: Guarantee that all revenue-related activities align with company policies, legal stipulations, and industry best practices.
CEO Collaboration: Engage in close-knit collaboration with the CEO on all revenue-focused operational and strategic undertakings, offering insights gleaned from financial analysis, projections, and comprehensive revenue vs. cost evaluations.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related domain is imperative. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree will be given preference.
Industry Certification: Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a significant advantage.
Experience: A robust history of success in catalyzing revenue growth and fostering organizational evolution within growth-centric organizations. Extensive understanding of the East Coast power delivery landscape, its inherent challenges, and emergent opportunities is essential.
Interpersonal Skills: Adeptness at forging and nurturing relationships with a multifaceted leadership team and a broader set of stakeholders.
Communication Proficiency: Demonstrable prowess in conveying complex ideas to both internal teams and external partners.
Analytical Acumen: Prior experience in financial planning, revenue projection, and in-depth analysis. Familiarity overseeing sales, business development, and related verticals is a must.
