The Nearshore Company (“TNC”) provides manufacturing and 3PL services to non-Mexico based companies. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Brownsville, TX, and currently generating over $40M in annual revenue. In the next four years, TNC plans on reaching an estimated annual revenue of more than $80M.
We are looking to hire a Sales Operations Manager to support in implementing and executing TNC’s Sales Strategy, that will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development. Travel is expected to be ~40% and the compensation associated with this position is competitive with the market and will be decided during the interview process based of skills and experience.
We expect most of our new clients to come from US & Canada, with the remaining from Europe and Asia (companies that value manufacturing close to their US customers).
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Contribute to plans and strategies for developing new business and achieving company’s sales growth
- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement within the team
- Keep our CRM (HubSpot) always up-to-date
- Manage the sales team’s cross-functional resources to deliver profitable growth
- Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
- Prospect for potential clients at:
o Trade shows
o Regional / local economic development offices
o Business associations
o Site-selection / relocation firms
- Develop and sustain partnerships and alliances
- Setup initial Sales calls from qualified leads, both inbound and outbound
- Represent TNC in government, NGO, and channel events
- Help with potential clients' visits to our facilities
- Create and deliver quotes and proposals to potential clients.
- Perform Account Management of current US customers as needed.
Experience
- Successful experience selling large service contracts to North American manufacturing companies
- Successful experience managing a small but skillful sales team
- Successful experience utilizing a CRM (preferably Hubspot) to manage sales team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing
- Previous manufacturing experience is a PLUS
- Previous marketing experience is a PLUS
- Knowledge of Manufacturing terms / processes or experience in a manufacturing environment is a PLUS
Skills
- Excels at selling intangible solutions into the B2B market
- Skilled at planning (strategic sales plan) and managing company’s revenue forecast
- Skilled at building rapport and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
- Advanced Data Modeling and Excel skills required
Goals
- Support the company’s leadership team in on-boarding new Clients
- Accountable for managing (and refining, as appropriate) the sales process, from initial call to closing
- Contribute to overall yearly sales growth of ~15% YoY
