About the role;
As a Sales Operations Specialist, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the seamless operation of the sales team. In your capacity as a Sales Operations Specialist, you'll also play a pivotal role in customer assistance and sales generation. This includes managing administrative tasks, serving as a bridge of communication between various departments or linking sales teams with senior management.
Your principal objective revolves around bolstering the growth of the Sales and Account Management teams by providing valuable administrative support. A strong command of data entry systems and retrieval processes is essential.

Job Responsibilities and Duties;
- Lead Qualification: Review and assess inbound leads generated through various marketing channels, such as website inquiries, email campaigns, webinars, and events. Utilise established qualification criteria to determine if leads meet the necessary prerequisites for engaging with the sales team.
- Engagement and Follow-up: Initiate timely and effective communication with leads to gather additional information, address inquiries, and understand their specific needs and pain points. Maintain a professional and informative dialogue to keep leads engaged and interested in our offerings.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessment conversations with leads to identify their challenges, goals, and potential fit with our products or services. Tailor conversations to uncover relevant information and position our solutions as effective problem-solving tools.
- Solution Presentation: Collaborate with the sales team to craft and deliver compelling presentations that highlight how our products or services can meet the identified needs of qualified leads. Clearly communicate value propositions and benefits to guide leads toward conversion.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, activities, and progress within the customer relationship management (CRM) system. Ensure proper documentation of all relevant communication for seamless handoff to the sales team.
- Collaboration: Foster strong communication and collaboration with the marketing and sales teams to align on lead qualification criteria, messaging, and strategies. Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and trends observed during lead engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine the lead qualification process
Qualifications;
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
- Have 1+ years in lead generation or outbound sales experience.
- Strong interest, or experience working for a SaaS organisation.
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in data entry/analysis and quick to learn new tools/technologies.
- A solution-oriented approach to selling.
- Strong understanding of IT-related processes.
