How You’ll Add Value…
The Sales Operations Associate, as part of the Sales Operations Team at Azenta Life Sciences, will work closely alongside the sales representatives and sales management and will assist in all support areas of sales. The successful applicant must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and effective manner and have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to assist internal and external personnel with inquiries, schedule and run meetings, and overall sales enablement. This is a very fast-paced environment with a high volume of sales support needs and excellent organizational skills are critical to this role.
What You’ll Do…

Communication between sales representatives, sales management and leadership teams and multiple SME’s throughout Azenta Life Sciences, often working to support several sales opportunities and projects at once across multiple business units whilst ensuring the customer deadline is met.

Work with Legal, Finance and business teams on the execution of customer agreements and terms and conditions and gaining the relevant business unit approvals.

Complete client Request for Information (RFIs) and vendor forms, working with SME's and using a bank of information and gaining approvals in a timely manner.

Create and maintain sales information for reporting when required.

Contribute to a database of RFI and RFP. Provide sales team information from RFI and RFP database as requested.

Attend regular meetings with sales, providing updates to the sales team as requested.

Supporting Sales Teams where appropriate to achieve goals.

Contributing to team discussions on process improvements

Cooperate with different departments to support business operations.

Provide support/training where required to salespeople and team members, relating to processes and systems where relevant.

Assist with the preparation of sales proposals/quotes and client communications.

Manage third-party marketplace requests and sales orders.

Tender management and submission through collaboration with global teams to complete documentation and provide complete responses within established timelines.

Key Requirements
-
A minimum of 2 years' experience required in a similar role such as Sales Support, Bid Coordinator, Project Manager, Sales Operations with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Salesforce or equivalent system

Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Business or Life Sciences, but not essential if a candidate's experience is relevant.

Experience working in multi-cultural and/or global environments.
Working Conditions/ Schedule

Office Environment or Working from Home – dependent on location.

May be required to travel sometimes overnight to client sites, trade shows or training. Travel is expected to be less than 5% of employee time.
