Job location: This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada or USA unless you are located in Ottawa, Canada where you would be expected to work a Hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days a week in office.
The role of Sales Operations Manager, will be providing regional field support and deliver insights to the Key Account sales team to improve operational effectiveness with an overall goal of increasing revenue and working with Kinaxis senior management to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization. - Partners with our Key Account Team to operationally support achievement of revenue targets.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop, implement and manage the business strategies, processes, and reports that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
- Analyzes sales trends and metrics to provide insights to the sales operations team and sales leadership. Develops analytical and reporting frameworks that are in line with the business's objectives.
- Provides as required pricing guidance, enablement and fulfillment of pricing inquiries.
- Ensures consistency and accuracy of sales systems and the execution of pipeline management processes and sales forecasting.
- Optimize sales funnel by identifying opportunities through data and process improvements.
- Monitor Key Account Managers productivity through the development of appropriate and accurate sales insights.
- Continuously improves, develops, and documents sales policies, processes, procedures, and tools that maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales data.
- Guides Key Account Managers with proposals or sales presentations as required.
- Account data management and segmentation for Kinaxis target accounts (customers and prospects).
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales Operations; ideally within a SaaS company selling to Enterprises.
- Experience partnering with a global field sales team, providing operational support in driving attainment of revenue targets.
- In-depth experience with CRM (Salesforce.com is a plus) and knowledge of best practices, along with proficiency in reporting, dashboards, creating / managing records in CRM, creating quote and ensuring data accuracy.
- 3+ years of experience in quoting solutions (preferred Salesforce CPQ+) with hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of all aspects of Salesforce CPQ+
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- Experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Experience using data and insights to drive improvements.
- Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, business development, marketing, and sales teams to implement operational improvements, design new processes, and improve processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, diligent, and accustomed to managing multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Experience in working with MS Office
- Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude
- Have a flexible and pragmatic mindset and the ability to think quickly with little supervision at times and adaptability to a fast-paced changing environment.
- Confident decision-maker with ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
