As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be a critical member of our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the portfolio company's goals, vision, and market trends. Your proven experience in scaling start-up organizations and portfolio companies, particularly within the distributed services, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors, will be crucial in driving our success. Our focus in the industries we will be looking at is senior living, healthcare and corporate.
· Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust revenue generation strategy that drives sustainable growth across all relevant market segments.
· Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and business relationships to expand our market presence and drive revenue streams.
· Sales Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to the sales team, set achievable targets, and develop effective sales processes to consistently exceed revenue goals.
· Go-to-Market Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective go-to-market strategies for new products or services, ensuring successful launches and market penetration.
· Customer-Centric Approach: Analyze customer insights and market trends to refine products/services, improve customer satisfaction, and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
· Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to proactively identify growth opportunities and adapt the revenue strategy as needed.
· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing revenue team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
· Financial Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of revenue initiatives, optimize pricing strategies, and make informed decisions to maximize profitability.
· Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to set and manage revenue-related budgets, ensuring responsible resource allocation and alignment with strategic objectives.
· Travel: 50%
· Proven experience in scaling start-up organizations, preferably within the distributed services, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors.
· Track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving substantial revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
· Strong understanding of verticals of market dynamics, customer behaviors, and emerging trends.
· Exceptional business development and strategic partnership-building skills.
· Excellent leadership abilities, with a history of effectively managing and motivating high-performing teams.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
· 10+ years of experience
· Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
