The Senior Manager, Media Planning/Deals Desk oversees and manages a portion of the Media Planning/Deals Desk team who supports the Agency, Brand, Trade Desk, and DSP Demand Facilitation teams to successfully manage digital ad campaigns across the Magnite platform. The Client Dev Team focuses on partnering with Sales and Demand Facilitation to manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve team and company goals.
In this role you will:
Supports the Demand Facilitation team and oversees management of select strategic accounts
Coach, train, and manage direct reports on the Media Planning/Deals Desk team
Oversees the implementation and improvement of processes and tools to support the Media Planning/Deals Desk team
Proactively works with demand teams to collect post-campaign analysis and identify opportunities for pre-sale improvement
Leads cross-departmental communication initiatives with Demand Operations, Demand Facilitation, Demand Strategy, and Supply Operations teams
Searches for creative solutions to accommodate client digital advertising objectives
Understands go to market strategy for each partnership and educates the Media Planning/Deals Desk team on the best way to merchandise each offering
Works with the Platform teams to build robust inventory management tools
Oversees management of select strategic accounts
Works with internal subject matter experts to position product updates and procedures for all pre-sales activities
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management
We’re looking for someone with:
6+ years of experience in digital advertising
2+ years supervisory experience
Thorough understanding of the digital advertising landscape
Demonstrated ability to maintain professional business relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
Aptitude to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience

In California, the base salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $130,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In Colorado, the base salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $120,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $130,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
