The Role: As our
CRO, you will be a vital member of our executive team, tasked with crafting and executing revenue strategies that will propel us to new heights. Your responsibilities will span sales, marketing, and customer success, aiming to optimize revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize lifetime value. If you’re a seasoned revenue leader with a proven SaaS track record and a passion for results in the physical security and cybersecurity software space, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with our growth objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
- Lead the creation and execution of sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Roll out an enticing sales compensation plan that aligns with company goals and motivates the right behaviors for success.
Sales Leadership:
- Mentor and lead the sales team, providing strategic guidance to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Recruit top-tier talent to outperform budget expectations.
- Foster a culture of sales excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Marketing and Branding:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective go-to-market strategies, demand generation campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and drive lead generation.
Customer Success and Retention:
- Oversee the customer success function, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and expansion of existing accounts.
- Collaborate closely with customer success teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our sales efforts and market reach.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key partners to drive mutual business growth.
Data Analytics and Performance Management:
- Leverage data and analytics to optimize revenue and inform decision-making across all revenue-related functions.
- Implement performance metrics, reporting, and dashboards to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Market Insights and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay at the forefront of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to shape revenue strategies.
- Utilize market insights to establish our company as an industry leader.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive revenue leadership experience in SaaS, with at least five years in physical security or cybersecurity software.
- A track record of smashing revenue targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire sales teams.
- A strategic mindset, backed by data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Private Equity backed Portfolio Company Experience; Exit experience preferred
