Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Deal Desk Operations!
The primary role of the Senior Manager, Deal Desk Operations is to drive acceleration of resell, referral and partner/3rd party subcontracting deals by simplifying the end-to-end process. As a member of the Deal Desk Operations team, the Senior Manager is responsible for executing new processes and process improvements designed to 1) create a foundation for scale and speed of Deal Desk operations 2) improve the overall partner experience 3) support scaling of our alliance management capacity.
Responsibilities
- Success in this role will require working cross-functionally to improve systems and processes, and to deliver information required to continuously improve Deal Desk Operations. The person in this role will be recognized as the subject matter expert for all things related to Deal Desk Operations.
- Overall responsibilities include:
- Displays good command over understanding Partner and Client Contracts
- Reimagine and transform the existing end to end process to accelerate the deal closure timelines
- Track and Report the License deals including deal financials, term, Product/Solution etc
- Drive Renewal process with Sales team
- Measure, analyze and report partner revenue and pipeline
- Gains and displays the good understanding and use of Partner Products and portals
- Understand the application of revenue recognition policy for License and subcontracting deals
- Understand and displays the good command over Pricing of License and subcontracting deals
- Registration of new opportunities with Partner as per Partner policies and procedures
- Coordinate with Partners and cross functional stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Pricing, Finance, Practice, Sourcing & Controllership teams
- Ensures timely issue of PO’s and payments to Partners
- Support resolution of Audit and partner payment related queries
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong matrix cross functional influence skills, collaboration skills, and ability to facilitate change and engage others in execution of requirements and goals.
- Strong operational experience, with a good sense for practicalities and how to optimize processes, procedures for rolling out global programs.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrates high degree of initiative and complex problem-solving skills.
- Proven record of high performance in previous finance and operations roles.
- Prior experience of working in partner operations, systems and tools would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience producing reports and dashboards using Excel, SalesForce ,Power BI and other tools.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational background: MBA in Finance or Operations
- Experience working in a Finance Operations, Channel/Partner Program Operations role for a high tech or global services firm.
- Should be willing to travel up to 10% of time, domestic and possibly some international.
- Must be an excellent communicator to drive change both internally and with partners externally.
- Knowledge of key productivity tools (e.g Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce.com, Sharepoint, OneDrive)
