Position Summary:
The Director of Revenue Operations, Americas is a pivotal leadership role, driving the enhancement of sales effectiveness by spearheading a dynamic team. This strategic role revolves around the optimization of processes and the data-centric orchestration of revenue teams. Through their guidance, the organization achieves streamlined operations, empowered sales teams, and maximized revenue outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and execute business process improvements that increase sales productivity and effectiveness while anticipating and innovating for future business needs
- Identify, systematize, and scale best practices across the organization
- Drive adoption of defined sales processes including opportunity generation, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Own business requirements that optimize the revenue technology (Salesforce, BI tools) to maximize efficiency and performance
- Manage the annual, quarterly, and monthly planning process including coverage model, territory design, quota setting, and account planning with sales management
- Partner with FP&A to build annual budgets and evolve compensation plans to drive performance aligned with business goals
- Deliver data-driven insights to sales and marketing leadership to enable rapid decision-making
- Manage the operating mechanics for the sales organization including regular meeting cadence and communications agenda to be proactive and transparent
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic partner and channel initiatives to track necessary metrics and evaluate performance
- Manage the quarterly spiff process to align with the business goals and objectives
- Manage ad-hoc programs that contribute to the overall success of the sales teams and the business requirements
- Maintain a close working relationship with technology to deliver tools and capabilities to the sales teams that improve the efficiency of work
- Manage and lead a team
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years of experience managing and leading revenue operations and teams
- Mix of operations or finance and sales/sales management experience preferred
- Experience working in a channel environment
- Prior experience in sales integrations including knowledge of how to streamline technology and align goals and objectives while maintaining results
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and other sales productivity tools, including best practices for use, integrations, reporting
- Ability to supervise projects and teams in a fast-paced environment and to inspire rapid adoption of change
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently and consistently deliver results against a deadline
- Experience operating in a matrix organization, including stakeholder engagement, and influencing management
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $170,000 or more depending on experience
