About the role:

This role supports the Opportunity to Order function within the Siemens DI PA SW Organization. This role will apply the Order to Delivery understanding with specific knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of complex and varied tasks.

This role typically operates under little supervision, performs the tasks independently in the areas of opportunity management, process and tools, global policies, pricing agreements, project management and general operations support.

Area of responsibility:

In your new role, you will support the global DI PA SW Operations Team in the successful execution of orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Elaboration of project costing and project calculation in cooperation with Business Administration
  • Quality Check and Review of contractual documents
  • Processing of incoming orders in our Professional Service Automation system (Financial Force, Certinia)
  • Creation and validation of projects in our Professional Service Automation system (Financial Force, Certinia)
  • Processing customer orders: supporting the entire project process from the creation of the project, through support of the project managers during the delivery phase, to project completion
  • Triggering billing and revenue recognition of the projects
  • Maintenance of project master data, verification, and quality control
  • Cross-departmental coordination and communication with Sales, Sales Support, Business Administration, Finance, Legal, Services, etc.
  • Preparation of project-relevant reports for project managers, business administration, management
  • Manage/Control Project Financials
  • Support in the standardization and harmonization of internal processes (continuous improvement)
  • Support the Global Sales Support team in the selling process through quoting (direct sales) and

Requirements:

  • University degree level standard or relevant extended industrial relevant experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office applications skills are required
  • SAP and/or SFDC Financial Force, Certinia knowledge is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in an E2E (opportunity to delivery) services projects process is a plus
  • Good command of the English language, German a plus
  • Knowledge and or experience in the field of project management / process management is required
  • High degree of independence, commitment, willingness to succeed and professionalism

Additional Requirements

  • This role can be based remotely in – the UK, Brazil or Austria
