The Role
This is a great opportunity for an analytically-minded and self-motivated individual with a passion for product and retail with demonstrated experience managing the wholesale sales process.
Reporting into the Commercial Director and with one direct report, the successful individual will be the driving force behind our dynamic Wholesale team’s ‘go to market’ sales assets and activities including, being accountable for all planning and implementation. You will be an innovator and boundary-pusher who thrives in a goal-driven and rapid growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the planning, implementing and driving the business processes and systems which support and manage our wholesale ‘go to market’ sales activities
- Accountable for managing our orderbook and the order conversion
- Accountable for managing the weekly and monthly sales performance reporting within MORI’s wholesale channel
- Responsible for optimising the functionality of the MORI B2B platform and ensure the user interface is effectively merchandised, to support the selling of forward-order, in-season stock, and promotional collections
- Responsible for the updating of the order/stock management system
- Responsible for the updating of the customer database system
- Develop close working relationships with stakeholders across the business. (merchandising, logistics, product, creative and brand teams)
- Develop a deep understanding of the various systems and online platforms used by wholesale, reviewing and optimising where necessary
- Attend and prepare for trade shows, seasonal selling appointments together with the sales team
- Work closely with the Commercial Director on the development and delivery of strategic planning and performance
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, managing the wholesale sales process and supporting the sales activities
- Be self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability and excellent attention to detail
- Be analytical, competent working with large volumes of data, using this to make informed decisions
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills/able to communicate effectively
- Be an innovator, regularly pushing boundaries to suggest new ways of working
- Poses ability to thrive in a goal-driven, fast paced and rapid growing environment
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, high energy level, and team-oriented
- Passion for product and retail
- Highly organised, detail oriented, with strong follow up skills
- Excellent computer skills with experience using Google suite & Microsoft Office suite. (Use of Joor, Salesforce and Shopify is beneficial)
