Job Description
The Global Sales Operations Director is the key business partner for our international sales organization. This position is responsible for managing daily operations to achieve the designated goals for Sales and Client Management teams across multiple divisions and regions of Elite. The primary responsibilities of this position include partnering with the sales and business leadership in GTM strategy, sales segmentation, territory analysis, territory performance, sales process, reporting, and productivity improvement. The Global Sales Operations Director will also play a key role in annual sales planning and technology planning for sales tools to help achieve customer retention and sales growth targets. The ideal candidate for this role is expected to have outstanding analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This position is data-driven, self-motivated, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly while staying focused on high impact projects, while also fostering strong relationships with sales leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own GTM strategy and sales planning.

Maintain operating cadence across all sales functions.

Manage and update forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, reports, and dashboards in CRM

Research, structure, implement, and maintain optimal sales processes and best-in-class industry practices.

Drive adoption and usage of sales tools & analytics models for performance improvement, consistent reporting and data-driven decision making.

Guide the administration of systems & emerging technologies.

Continue to build and improve the sales training program for onboarding and continuous education on products, sales skills and processes.

Establish sales compensation program rules, policies and procedures.

Partner with Internal Stakeholders to ensure optimal engagement and interlock to achieve shared objectives.

Drive innovation in the Sales organization by leading sales pilots and launching new concepts and techniques to accelerate growth and market penetration.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education. A bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required. MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience. Ten or more years of experience in a senior sales strategy and operations role or management consulting

Business Operations. focus on project management and process improvements.

Thought Leadership. Prior people management experience is required. Ability and desire to manage a remote team and resources.

Technical Expertise. Sales Pipeline and Forecasting process expertise.

Data Analytics. Experience using business analytics to determine root causes and identify solutions.

Client Management. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sales and client management workflow procedures and general business workflows.

Stakeholder Relationships. Proven ability to build relationships and influence all levels within the organization, especially with senior management and executive levels.

Commitment. Always focused on doing what’s right for the business. High energy and contagious enthusiasm. Willing to take on tough projects and challenges with demonstrated knowledge of the needs of the Sales teams.

Travel. Willing and able to travel as needed, up to 20% annually.
