Our client, a premium manufacturer of bulk cannabinoids and private label brands, has a need for a Head of Sales to develop and deliver the company's revenue plan, oversee all day to day sales activities, and directly manage the sales team.
This position can be based out of Colorado, California or Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver a sales operating plan to achieve company growth and profit targets
- Successfully navigate a complex sales cycle with collaborative experience, not transactional relationships
- Manage sales team and maintain sales operations
- Develop and manage sales budget
- Establish sales goals and motivate the team to attain those goals
- Report and provide feedback to the leadership team
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships
- Work with supply chain and operations team for forecasting and planning
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience leading national sales efforts, building relationships through long-term, high-touch sales cycles
- Previous succes in a similar role with a cannabis manufacturing organization
- Strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail-oriented perspective
- Impeccable integrity, confidentiality, loyalty and discretion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Creative approach to solving problems and addressing needs of the organization, and expertise in implementing changes effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed
