What you'll do:
Sound Agriculture is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to expand our established Revenue Operations Team. This role is critical in further scaling our sales operations to help us meet the growth objectives of our flagship nutrient efficiency product line, SOURCE. The Sales Operations Manager plays a vital role to sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders by owning deal desk, commissions, territories, sales effectiveness measurement, and sales processes to exceed our goals. This role works closely with Sales, Agronomy, Customer Experience and Marketing leaders and their teams to drive revenue and retention for the company through streamlined work-flow systems, software integrations and data-based insights.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations and is based remotely across the United States with minimal travel expectations (<10%).
Compensation Target:
$117,000 to $130,000 base salary, bonus target 10%
Bonuses are earned based on annual company and individual performance and are prorated based on start date.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong partnership with the business to become a trusted advisor and point of escalation for the aligned sales team
- Lead and facilitate forecast calls, analyze historical data, provide predictions of accurate forecasts, and challenge questionable opportunities in the forecast
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to understand the state of the business and sales team performance
- Be the point of escalation for sales leadership as it relates to Deal Desk, Order Management and Sales Operations
- Identify opportunities for sales process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving significant growth
- Partner with the Sales Leadership, Finance, Legal and HR to design, document, implement and monitor sales compensation plans for both internal and partner commissions
- Own commissions calculations, reporting, policies and provide support for all end-user technical or commission inquiries
- Partner with sales on annual planning activities and lead the territory carving and assignment process
- Review non-standard deal terms and ensure compliance with published sales and approval policies and act as an escalation point for approvals
- Implement tools and processes for the sales organization that focuses on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
Targeted Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally (finance, marketing, customer experience, etc) with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Managed Deal Desk functions and an expert with CPQ/OMS tools with deep understanding of pricing structure and modeling
- Deep SFDC expertise and knowledge of enterprise SaaS tools
- Ability to partner, collaborate and influence across functional areas (e.g. Finance, People Operations and Sales) and support multiple business partners
- Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and an understanding of sales incentive programs, processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to gather information, analyze data and processes, apply project management techniques, manage projects with competing priorities, and drive solutions cross-functionally
- Strong familiarity with implementing sales processes, especially solution-selling
- Strong written and verbal communication, with experience delivering presentations to an executive audience
