About the Role
ROLLER is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations to join our high-impact Go-to-Market (GTM) team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Leadership and C-Suite to craft comprehensive GTM strategies that propel ROLLER into new verticals, markets, and distribution channels. Your responsibilities will span across the entire operational spectrum, from Marketing and Sales to Professional Services and Customer Success.
You will be at the forefront of utilizing data-driven insights and qualitative information to steer our business towards success. Your role will encompass vital aspects of GTM strategy development and annual planning, including territory mapping, compensation structure design, capacity forecasting, and more. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing a robust data and analytics foundation, including executive reporting, business health assessments, interactive dashboards, and performance indicators. Reporting directly to the COO, you will collaborate closely with leaders in Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams.
What You’ll Do
- Craft and Execute GTM Strategy: Lead the charge in establishing and implementing effective processes to execute our GTM strategy, ensuring optimal investment decisions at every step.
- Strategic Partner: Become a trusted advisor to our GTM Leadership by defining, monitoring, and deploying scalable goals, programs, and strategies.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with the Head of GTM Systems Architect to design, develop, and deploy new systems, with a specific focus on managing and enhancing Salesforce.
- Annual GTM Planning: Guide the annual GTM planning process, including fiscal year and long-range modeling, return on investment analysis, and headcount planning.
- Headcount Forecasting: Take the lead in managing the headcount forecasting process for various time horizons, including fiscal year, long-range, and quarterly modeling.
- Executive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses, formulate strategies, and deliver high-impact presentations, such as board materials and quarterly business reviews (QBR).
- Performance Visibility: Provide clear visibility into business performance through operational reviews, representative efficiency and productivity indicators, and comprehensive dashboards.
- Data and Reporting Foundation: Play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our data and reporting foundation.
- Operational Efficiency: Drive improvements in operational efficiency by automating processes and optimizing dashboards to support scalable growth.
What we look for
- Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy and operations, encompassing fields such as investment banking, strategy consulting, FP&A, and enterprise/mid-market SaaS.
- MBA Qualification: An MBA from a top-tier business school.
- Analytical Prowess: Demonstrated ability and passion for analyzing complex problems, setting priorities, and presenting clear solutions to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Data Expertise: Proficiency in data-related tasks, including querying and scoping (SQL, Databricks, BigQuery), analysis (Excel), summarization (pivot tables, charts, slides, written explanations), and reporting (dashboards, repositories).
- Process Efficiency: Strong process optimization skills, with the ability to envision end-to-end process improvements, document requirements, and guide execution in collaboration with IT teams.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in BI and sales tools, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Redash.
- Team Leadership: A passion for building and managing high-performance global teams.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine fondness for customer service and the patience to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
