The Business Development and Sales Operations Manager is responsible for executive dashboard management of sales driven analytics and return on investment including retail sell through, sales forecasts and annual programs, approval of COOP claims and pricing exceptions, retail pricing management, representing the sales team on a contract review committee, maintaining the national promotions calendar, maintaining retailer contribution margin workflows, and working with the sales team to resolve aged retailer deductions. This role will report into our Executive Vice President, US Sales and will manage a small team of direct reports.

Responsibilities:
Sales Driven Analytics and Return On Investment
- Monitor retail sell-through performance and sales forecasts.
- Assist in resolving aged retailer deductions/chargebacks.
- Develop executive management dashboards that provide data points for the purpose of healthy business growth.
Sales COOP (Market Development) Programs
- Work with the sales team to obtain annual program documentation, understand possible cost increases versus prior year, obtain meet competition forms and determine ROI of individual programs.
- Approved valid sales claims.
Pricing Management
- Partner with the Product Team and Finance to maintain price lists and provide support for price change initiatives.
- Analyze contribution margins and approve price exceptions.
- Manage MAP and marketplace programs, take action against unauthorized retailers.
Contract Management
- Represent the sales team on the retail contract review committee for various retail contracts.
- Work with the Finance team to negotiate terms of sales related vendor agreements.
National Promotions Management
- Prepare and distribute National Promotion Calendars.
- Work with the Finance team to maintain National Promotion Calculators.
- Approve sales claims.
California Proposition 65
- Manage Prop 65 notifications to distributors, retailers and rep firms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Sales or Sales Operations
- Business Operations experience required
- Analytical mind with strong business acumen and problem solving skills
- Understanding of retail business processes
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal) with internal and external teams
- Experience with Excel, MS Office Products, and G-Suite
- SAP experience a plus
