It is a very exciting time of growth for Quisitive. We are in search of a Director of Sales Operations – Microsoft Cloud Services to ensure the delivery of processes, tools, analytics, and insights to enable the sales organization to succeed.
- This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer the Dallas, Texas area.
What will my role be?
This role will lead the creation and subsequent management of Quisitive's daily Cloud Sales Operations activities for our Cloud Sales team members and the long-term success of the team. Duties will include:
SalesOps and RevOps
- Establishing, running and maintaining a Cloud Sales Operations (SalesOps) function for the Cloud Sales organization that drives efficiencies and achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives by:
- Building a structured sales process with supporting tools and systems
- Identifying, utilizing, and refining sales analytics and intelligence
- Designing the sales team structure, individual/team areas of focus and compensation models
- Establishing, running and maintaining end-to-end Revenue Operations (RevOps) that contain shared data and revenue processes across go-to-market functions including marketing, sales, customer service, IP development and support.
Operationalize Sales
- Ensuring data quality within the Cloud Sales Operation's systems and tools to include:
- Consistent and accurate data that drives key Sales KPIs, analytics and quality reporting through the integration of that data across systems and platforms
- Providing insights and trends uncovered from analyzing CRM, sales pipeline and customer information
- Advising and recommending to executive and sales leadership follow-on actions to ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Sales forecasting to include:
- Creation and governance of the sales forecast process from/for individual account executives and presented up to executive and sales leadership
- Sourcing, compiling, and manipulating data from CRM extracts into a consistent and reliable forecast
- Govern and run the rhythm of business meetings and calls
Optimize Revenue Generation
- Improve the productivity of the sales team by maximizing the capabilities of the various sales tools: i.e., CRM, LinkedIn, etc.
- Continuously improve the revenue generation of the sales team by
- Identifying best practices and sales insight
- Evangelize and provide coaching of best practices and insights throughout the sales team.
Coaching and mentoring Account Executives
- When required, engage in/or initiate conversations with customers to introduce how Quisitive could enable their digital transformation.
- Implement strategies and tactics to accelerate the closing of deals.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Account Executives in opportunity execution. Including: input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, understanding the customers pain points during the pre-sales process, leveraging, and collaborating with the pre-sales team, building of pricing estimates, implementation of closing plans (i.e., aligning customer to timeline).
- Build new functionality into the CRM system to track the sales process more accurately.
- Build, validate, deploy, and refine sales related KPIs. Build approaches to measure the effectiveness of the KPI and reset if appropriate.
- Coordinate efforts with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing events.
- Work with the marketing team to create buyer segments and personas. Enable the Account Executives by creating selling content that aligns to the segments/personas.
- Work with marketing team to create battlecards to position Quisitive vis-a-vis their competition.
- Provide feedback to the Quisitive leadership for sales operational enhancements.
What's Required?
- Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years successful track record in technology sales
- 5+ years in sales operations management, including responsibility for forecasting, reporting and sales tool and process improvements.
- Experience working with an Enterprise CRM system. Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft product platform, competitive products, and the market
- Microsoft Field Sales team relationships; Microsoft Corporate business relationships
- Experience selling Microsoft Business Applications strongly preferred.
- Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Good strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
- Flexibility to travel when required.
