The Company presently reaches over 10 million students annually and provides graduate recruiters with an all-in-one solution for student hiring and campus brand promotion.
Student traffic is taking off simultaneously in other countries and there is huge potential for growth. The Philippines and Indonesia are fast growing markets for them, and they're building in the UK, Europe, US, Canada to name a few.
About the Role:
At this pivotal juncture in the company's trajectory and the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will play a crucial role in propelling the organisation to new heights, from start-up to scale-up. The CRO will wield unparalleled influence over revenue-related matters, guiding strategy, fostering a growth-oriented culture, and refining operational processes to facilitate expansion.
- Revenue Growth: The CRO will bear the responsibility of achieving ambitious revenue targets, with the aim of realising 10-fold growth over the next 3-5 years.
- Team Management: Leading and nurturing sales teams across various regions will be central to the role. While supported by seasoned regional Sales VPs, the CRO will serve as the guiding force.
- Sales Playbook: Crafting a definitive sales guide, encompassing everything from contract terms to strategic approaches, will be a cornerstone of this position.
- Performance Management: Formulating key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team will be instrumental. The CRO will establish benchmarks and incentive structures that drive success.
- Communication: Exemplary communication skills are imperative. Whether producing white papers or delivering presentations, the CRO will generate resources with company-wide applicability.
- Process and Scale: The role requires a forward-looking approach, extending beyond immediate victories. The CRO will develop processes conducive to sustained, long-term growth, requiring a combination of strategic thinking and methodical execution.
- Internal Collaboration: Close collaboration with other functions, including product, marketing, and engineering, will be essential. Ensuring alignment of strategies for maximum impact is paramount.
The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in scaling revenue; taking businesses from start-up to scale-up and establishing and growing international markets. The ability to thrive in a startup environment is crucial, demanding adaptability, resourcefulness, and an adeptness at finding solutions in uncharted territory.
